Description

You will manage infrastructure, database performance, and disaster recovery for a federal government contract in Ashburn, VA.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance issues across AWS environments.
• Manage and maintain Oracle and Postgres databases, optimizing performance impact parameters.
• Develop and maintain ad hoc reports and dashboards using PowerBI.
• Utilize Konvoy, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines to manage and deploy infrastructure and services.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in systems engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Services and AWS Disaster Recovery protocols.
• Experience working with Oracle and Postgres databases.
• Understanding of database performance impact parameters.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional triage.
• Must have a CBP Public Trust security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Konvoy, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using PowerBI.
