Description

You will manage and secure Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments, focusing on automation and system stability.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of RHEL systems and services.
• Develop automation scripts and Ansible playbooks to streamline provisioning and configuration management.
• Troubleshoot complex RHEL issues involving performance, network connectivity, and service availability.
• Provide expert-level support for Logical Volume Manager (LVM) configurations, including volume resizing and snapshot management.
• Implement security measures, patch management, and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration.
• 3+ years of experience writing Ansible playbooks and using Ansible Tower.
• Expertise in Logical Volume Manager (LVM) management and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Bash, Python, and YAML scripting.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet or Chef.
• Strong knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and security practices.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in a related field.
