Description

You will manage system administration and deployment within a secure service provider environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy Windows OS images and customer environments using Windows Server and Linux.
  • Perform routine system patching, general administration, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Provide Level 3 technical support for systems issues and Level 1 support for security issues.
  • Maintain system documentation and track assets within an IT asset management system.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation schedule.

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of system administration experience in a Windows server environment.
  • Proficiency with Windows PowerShell or other current scripting languages.
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP network fundamentals and protocols including FTP, SSH, SMTP, HTTP, and HTTPS.
  • Experience using systems management, monitoring, diagnostic, and troubleshooting tools.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and understanding of computer system integration.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft and Linux technologies.

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience in a data center or virtualization environment.
  • Experience working in security-compliant environments such as PCI, SOX, HiTrust, or ISO.
  • Familiarity with the ITIL framework and BigFix systems management software.
