Description

You will manage operating systems, end-user software, and network connectivity solutions for a Washington D.C. based team.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations while adhering to security and compliance best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues across servers, workstations, and peripheral equipment.
• Perform and test routine system backups and restores to ensure data integrity.
• Monitor service queues and process tickets according to helpdesk priority policies.
• Maintain network asset inventory, technical documentation, and system performance analysis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in systems engineering or IT support.
• Azure Cloud administration.
• VMware virtualization.
• PowerShell scripting.
• Management of LAN, intranet, and internet applications.
• Experience with workstation connectivity and hardware maintenance.
• Ability to manage software patches, upgrades, and hardware reconfigurations.
• Valid driver license.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with network component inventory and technical specification documentation.
