Design and manage complex software-defined network architectures and hybrid cloud environments in Brooklyn, NY.

Responsibilities

• Implement BGP peering between NSX-T and Cisco ACI.
• Configure NSX-T Distributed and Gateway Firewalls using App ID based Layer 7 rules.
• Manage Avi Global DNS, local load balancing, and SNAT VIP pool monitoring.
• Deploy Workspace One and Horizon VDI solutions integrated with Azure AD and NSX-T identity-based firewalling.
• Administer VMware server, networking, and SAN storage solutions including vSAN and hyper-converged infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in software design and network technologies.
• VMware Certified Advanced Professional - Network Virtualization Design 2023.
• Deep knowledge of NSX-T VDS T1/T0 segments, VxLAN/Geneve federated stretch segments, and vSphere/vCenter 7.x/8.x.
• Experience with VCF Cloud Foundation and NSX-T extensions into AWS and Azure.
• Strong proficiency in IP/IPv6 networking, subnetting, and advanced routing protocols.
• Automation experience using Python, Terraform, and Ansible pipelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Visio.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco CCNP Enterprise.
• VMware Certified Design Expert - Network Virtualization 2023.
• Knowledge of Aria suite (vROps, vCenter, vRA, Log Insight) and VMware Horizon.
