Description

You will design, develop, and evaluate systems applying computer science and mathematical analysis principles.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop back-end services, workflows, and automation for fleet management and full server lifecycle management.
• Build out-of-band server management tooling in multi-vendor environments, managing state and telemetry.
• Write and review code, test changes directly on hardware, and automate testing procedures.
• Troubleshoot provisioning, firmware update, and network boot issues end to end.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP network fundamentals and troubleshooting network boot processes.
• Experience managing Linux systems and server lifecycles, including provisioning and firmware updates.
• Proficiency in coding and scripting automation using Python, Go, Rust, Bash, or Ruby.
• Experience automating management of large server hardware fleets using Redfish or IPMI.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot server/systems architecture and components.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and/or cloud deployment technologies.
