Description

You will support cybersecurity software development by collaborating with engineering and product teams to drive technical research, troubleshoot complex networking and security issues, and participate in development cycles.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical research projects to define and drive project requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex networking and security issues to meet time-sensitive deliverables.
• Participate actively in engineering and product development cycles.
• Operate independently or under direct supervision to complete assigned tasks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in networking and cybersecurity.
• Proficiency with Nessus, Wireshark, and Metasploit.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and Java.
• Experience managing Linux environments (CentOS, Ubuntu) and shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with vSphere and VMware (Workstation and Servers).
• Knowledge of Nagios, Incident Response, and the Cyber Kill Chain.
• Practical experience with AAA, IPSec, 802.1x, and TLS.
• Familiarity with Network Configuration and Cyber Threat analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IDS/IPS technologies including Zeek/Bro, Suricata, or Snort.
• Exposure to Machine Learning and SIEM tools such as Splunk or ELK Stack.
• Knowledge of Cisco Stealthwatch, Cisco ISE, and Cisco or Juniper firewalls, routers, and switches.
