Description

You will own the stability and evolution of Windows Server infrastructure, database systems, and identity management services. Your work ensures on-prem applications scale reliably and security policies are enforced effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage business hour on-call rotations, resolving high-critical alerts and documenting weekly value reports.
• Modify existing databases, write logical and physical database descriptions, and direct programmers on changes.
• Deploy, scale, and manage on-prem applications using configuration management tools like Chef, SCCM, or Ansible.
• Administer and troubleshoot MS Active Directory, Group Policy, and authentication protocols in a mixed environment.
• Automate infrastructure tasks using advanced PowerShell scripting and follow established runbooks for execution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Windows Server engineering, configuration, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation capabilities.
• Experience with configuration management: Chef (preferred), SCCM, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Expertise in MS Active Directory administration and Group Policy authoring.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols: NTLM, Kerberos, OAuth, SAML.
• Basic knowledge of Linux server administration.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in computer science or software engineering.
• Azure experience, including conditional access policies, SSO, and OIDC.
• Advanced Active Directory engineering in large mixed environments.
