Description

Systems Engineer responsible for telecommunications infrastructure, cloud integration, and network automation within 4G/5G and private wireless environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain Windows virtual servers, Kubernetes clusters, and web server configurations.
• Manage OpenStack VNF lifecycle, including HEAT orchestration templates, tenant creation, and VM instantiation.
• Validate SIP/Diameter call flows and test scenarios for CSCF, HSS/SLF, TAS, SBC, and MGCF upgrades.
• Configure and integrate Nokia NetAct EMS with existing OSS/BSS systems using ETSI-MANO architecture.
• Troubleshoot IT networks, production software, and cybersecurity protocols while documenting solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years experience in Systems Engineering or Network Operations.
• Strong knowledge of Private Wireless Networks, 4G LTE, and 5G MNO architectures.
• Proficiency with O-RAN, NG-CORE, and MEC technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms: GCP, Azure, and AWS.
• Experience with OpenStack, VMware VIM, and Virtual Network Function (VNF) deployment.
• Ability to write automation scripts in Python and Perl.
• Understanding of ETSI-MANO components (NFVI, VIM, VNFM, Orchestration).
• Experience with JAMF Connect and VPN elimination strategies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AIOps and 6G incubation projects.
• Background in creating MOPs for Virtual Network Function Manager configurations.
