Description

You will own infrastructure operations by driving technical innovation and efficiency through automation. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design server monitoring and management solutions using automation and self-repair mechanisms.
• Resolve root-cause failures by identifying patterns and implementing long-term automated solutions.
• Create processes that enhance operational workflow and improve customer impact.
• Develop metrics to demonstrate performance gains in operational efficiency.
• Understand how commodity servers, operating systems, and networks function, perform, and scale.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in infrastructure operations.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux or UNIX variants in a datacenter environment.
• Proficiency in automation using Perl, Python, and shell scripting.
• Strong system troubleshooting and problem analysis skills.
• Understanding of standard internet protocols (Ethernet, ARP, IP, ICMP, UDP, TCP, SSL, DNS, HTTP).
• Experience building SQL queries.
• Grasp of security best practices in server configuration, tool development, and access controls.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of C, C++, or Java.
• Understanding of AWS technologies.
