Description

You will implement and scale cloud computing and networking configuration changes across a global robotics fulfillment network.

Responsibilities

• Execute implementation and scaling of networking configuration changes for large-scale retrofit programs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues by identifying root causes and failure patterns.
• Develop simple, repeatable automation and processes to improve operational workflows and efficiency.
• Create metrics to monitor and demonstrate performance improvements in operational efficiency.
• Document technical processes, testing procedures, and security configurations to support operations at scale.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or related roles.
• In-depth experience deploying and operating Linux or UNIX variants in datacenter environments.
• Fundamental knowledge of AWS infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python programming and shell scripting for automation.
• Strong understanding of wired and wireless network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and access points.
• Deep knowledge of internet protocols: Ethernet, ARP, IP, ICMP, UDP, TCP, SSL, DNS, and HTTP.
• Demonstrable grasp of security best practices regarding server configuration and access controls.
• Basic understanding of SQL queries.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Essentials certifications.
• Experience with C++ and managing servers in large-scale, geographically diverse environments.
• Operational knowledge of enterprise switching and routing platforms.
