Description

Manage and automate centralized Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions and transmission processes across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Automate file transmissions by configuring SFTP accounts, parameters, and shell or Perl programming routines.
• Configure Connect:Direct and file agent scripts to facilitate automation and ensure reliability.
• Partner with network, firewall, and system administrators to establish TCP/IP connectivity and troubleshoot FTP issues.
• Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document transmission solutions based on customer requirements.
• Provide 24x7 support via on-call rotations and scheduled weekend or night maintenance windows.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Unix/Linux application support and programming using Bash, Korn shell, or Perl.
• 7+ years of experience with FTP protocols including SFTP/SSH, FTPS/SSL, HTTP/s, and PGP/GPG.
• 5+ years of experience with TCP/IP connectivity setups and troubleshooting.
• Deep expertise in Managed File Transfer (MFT) workflows.
• Strong problem determination and analysis skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under strict time commitments.
• Excellent technical writing and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Sterling Commerce (IBM) products: Connect:Direct, Sterling File Gateway, or Cleo Harmony.
• Proficiency in C, Java, Cloud Architecture, or Google Cloud Platform (GCS Bucket storage).
• Experience using Microsoft Visio and Office products.
