Description

You will develop and maintain a BI environment to support secure enterprise computing and vulnerability remediation tracking.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and join data from disparate sources to create actionable reporting and meaningful metrics.
• Build data workflows and develop Grafana reports and dashboards.
• Generate security reports to track vulnerability remediation projects.
• Review code, queries, and table configurations to support security strategy solutions.
• Collaborate with data managers, project managers, and system admins to define BI needs and remediation priorities.

Required Skills

• 7-10 years of experience in data engineering or systems environments.
• Query development and optimization using SQL across MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
• Database development and engineering with Microsoft SQL Server, focusing on automation, integration, and reporting services.
• Experience creating on-demand and ad-hoc metrics using SQL.
• Knowledge of SQL Server integration with external data sources, email notifications, and data exports.
• Understanding of data structures, computer systems, and software engineering principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data analytics, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Scripting experience using Python, PowerShell, C#, VB, or Java.
• System administration background in UNIX, Linux, or Windows.
• Microsoft, Linux, or security certifications.
