Description

You will manage the deployment, maintenance, and configuration of custom applications and infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, maintain, and configure custom applications in collaboration with developers and business units.
• Design and develop scripts to automate operational tasks, maintenance, and business processes.
• Monitor and fine-tune application infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, availability, and resource utilization.
• Develop and refine recovery procedures and support contingency planning initiatives.
• Provide off-hours support via a weekly 7x24 rotational call schedule.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering.
• Strong experience with Windows Server and Linux/Unix environments, preferably RedHat.
• Middleware administration experience including WebSphere, JBOSS, or Tomcat.
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Unix Shell Scripting, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Understanding of application, middleware, and database connectivity.
• Knowledge of LDAP concepts, Active Directory user/group design, and OKTA or other IDaaS providers.
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities and respond to critical requests under pressure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with database technologies including Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Working knowledge of Splunk and Change Management standards.
• Familiarity with application programming languages and web technologies.
