Description

You will own the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of z/OS transaction and network systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain IMS/TM, CICS, CICS TG, MQ Messaging, and TCP/IP systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot transaction and network systems for high availability.
• Implement system enhancements and optimizations to improve efficiency.
• Perform system upgrades and apply patches for security and compliance.
• Collaborate with managed service providers for seamless integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in z/OS transaction and network system engineering.
• Proficiency in IMS/TM, CICS, CICS TG, MQ Messaging, and TCP/IP.
• Experience working with managed service providers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages.
• Knowledge of security best practices for z/OS systems.
