Systems Engineer IV

You will own the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of z/OS transaction and network systems.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, maintain, and optimize IMS/TM, CICS, CICS TG, MQ Messaging, TCP/IP, and z/OS network systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot transaction and network systems to ensure high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with managed service providers to ensure seamless integration and support of z/OS systems.
• Develop and implement system enhancements and optimizations to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Perform system upgrades and apply patches to maintain system security and compliance.
• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in z/OS transaction and network system engineering.
• Proficiency in IMS/TM, CICS, CICS TG, MQ Messaging, TCP/IP, and z/OS network systems.
• Experience working with managed service providers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Any Graduate degree required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages.
• Knowledge of security best practices for z/OS systems.
