Description

You will own the maintenance and operation of critical Linux-based systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Glassbox systems in Linux environments.
• Manage Java application hosting to ensure high availability and performance.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment and system tasks.
• Implement and troubleshoot TLS/SSL certificates and connectivity issues.
• Monitor system health and proactively resolve performance or stability issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of practical experience in systems administration within large environments.
• Expertise in scripting languages: Shell Script, Python, Perl, and BladeLogic NSH.
• Strong background in Java applications and Node.js hosting on Linux.
• Proficiency with Linux system administration and shell scripting.
• Thorough understanding of TLS/SSL certificate implementation and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of version control systems like Bitbucket and Artifactory.
• Strong grasp of network protocols (HTTP/S, TCP) and web debugging (Wireshark, Chrome DevTools).
• Solid network troubleshooting skills using standard tools (ping, nslookup, traceroute, curl).

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, DOM manipulation, and web analytics concepts.
