Description

You will support, maintain, and configure distributed Linux and VMware servers within a wireless network environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of incidents and tickets, prioritizing responses based on severity and customer impact.
• Troubleshoot and restore service at outage sites to meet established KPIs and SLAs.
• Execute deployments and run scripts following standard operating procedures.
• Perform scheduled system health checks and document all actions and ticket resolutions within Jira.
• Resolve Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 platform support tickets.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience building and administering VMware products across multiple data centers.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration.
• Experience managing high-volume incident response and ticket lifecycles.
• Working knowledge of VMware services and tools.
• Ability to use Jira for ticket tracking and documentation.
• Experience with Shell, Python, or PowerShell scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS.
