Description

Lead the translation of product goals into comprehensive system and subsystem requirements for autonomous systems and robotics. You will own the requirements lifecycle, from elicitation through design reviews and safety analysis.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to gather, track, and translate goals and KPIs into detailed system and subsystem requirements.
• Generate and maintain interface control documents and specification documents for subsystem and vehicle interactions.
• Support Safety Engineers in analyzing systems to mitigate risk, ensuring safety goals and methodologies are integrated into product designs.
• Lead design reviews to ensure traceability and compliance, and review test plans for alignment with requirements.
• Evaluate new feature requests, provide accurate estimates, and contribute to business development through proposal inputs and customer meetings.

Required Skills

• 4–7 years of direct experience in requirements elicitation and generation within the product development lifecycle.
• Proficiency with requirement management tools such as IBM Doors, Jama Connect, or Polarion.
• Experience in autonomous systems, robotics, or complex hardware development.
• Strong understanding of design principles and Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with safety analysis techniques including HARAs, STPAs, and FMEAs.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication abilities.

Preferred Skills

• INCOSE SEP certification or CPRE certification.
