Description

You will provide engineering leadership for manufacturing systems at the Meriden plant, supporting legacy infrastructure while implementing improvements and migrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Support legacy manufacturing systems and drive innovative improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate the deployment of advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Provide technical expertise and problem-solving support to site resources.
• Execute system migrations and programming tasks using VB6 and VB.NET.
• Manage database operations using SQL scripts and stored procedures.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in VB6 and VB.NET programming with MS Visual Studio.
• Experience with application migration and system modernization.
• Strong database skills, including SQL scripts and stored procedures.
• Familiarity with Wonderware (AVEVA) Historian, InTouch, or MES systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
• 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience in private, public, government, or military environments.
