Description

You will lead the maintenance and support of mission-critical application systems in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve software issues within COBOL-based applications.
• Provide L1/L2 support to technical users and business teams.
• Execute software maintenance tasks including patches, upgrades, and configurations.
• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve alerts.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and support teams to maintain system stability.
• Create and maintain technical support documentation and knowledge bases.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of COBOL (Mainframe) experience.
• 6+ years of Unix scripting experience.
• 6+ years of experience working with DB2 LUW.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Proven history of hands-on application maintenance and support.
• Excellent written documentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
