Description

You will manage the deployment, maintenance, and orchestration of virtualized network functions and cloud infrastructure in Texas, USA.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain 4G and 5G network functions using VMware and OpenStack VIM technologies.
• Build virtualized networks using Network Function Virtualization and develop prototypes using Python and Perl scripting.
• Prepare OpenStack HEAT orchestration templates to instantiate VMs in private cloud environments.
• Validate SIP/diameter call flow scenarios including e911, feature interop, and node upgrades for CSCF, TAS, and others.
• Coordinate Kubernetes cluster deployments and perform configuration on web servers and Windows virtual servers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or network virtualization.
• Proficiency with OpenStack, including tenant creation and HEAT orchestration templates.
• Experience with VMware and virtualized network function (VNF) lifecycle management.
• Working knowledge of ETSI-MANO architecture (NFVI, VIM, VNFM, and Orchestration).
• Practical experience with Python and Perl scripting for automation.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS).
• Knowledge of Private Wireless Networks, O-RAN, and NG-CORE.
• Ability to perform complex migrations of legacy systems and analyze cybersecurity protocols.
