Description

You will manage and stabilize core infrastructure through Active Directory optimization, server lifecycle management, and migration support.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Assess and improve Active Directory health, focusing on domain controllers, replication, and compliance.
• Manage server patching processes and resolve Kerberos-related issues.
• Lead file server migrations into updated environments with minimal production impact.
• Decommission obsolete domain controllers and redistribute workloads to drive environment stabilization.
• Support early-stage planning for migrations from Google Workspace to Azure/M365.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering.
• Strong on-premises Active Directory experience.
• Hands-on Windows Server patching and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience with server and file migrations.
• Ability to execute tasks within complex or unorganized environments.
• Powershell Scripting.
• Azure.
• Microsoft 365.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating from Google Workspace.
• Direct exposure to Azure or Microsoft 365 migration projects.
