Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services within a microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement RESTful APIs to support frontend applications and distributed system integrations.
• Develop backend components for event-driven systems using message brokers and NoSQL databases.
• Own the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure adherence to engineering best practices and security standards.
• Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies using Git, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines for deployment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Proficiency with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with J2EE technologies.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases, specifically Cassandra and MongoDB.
• Ability to design and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Experience using Jira for project management.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
