Description

You provide second and third level support for the GlobalLink applications suite within a global technical operations team.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve issues across server, network, and storage functional areas.
• Execute Change Management tasks across Production, UAT, and Development environments.
• Contribute to migration tasks focused on maintainability, performance, and high availability.
• Monitor system performance and recommend optimizations.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Development teams to deliver resilient systems and participate in on-call rotations.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of total IT experience.
• 10+ years of experience with scripting languages including Perl, Python, or Bash.
• Strong Linux system administration knowledge, preferably Red Hat or CentOS.
• Deep familiarity with Apache web servers and CGI script development.
• Experience supporting production applications and running/troubleshooting Java applications.
• Strong troubleshooting skills from the kernel up to the application and network layers.
• Basic networking knowledge including TCP, UDP, Load Balancing, NAT, and firewalls.
• Working knowledge of cloud environments and automation.

Preferred Skills

• AWS experience.
• Infrastructure deployment via Terraform.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and Artifactory/Nexus.
