Description

Act as the Subject Matter Expert for AssureOne (Federos/Monolith) development and administration. Own the full software lifecycle from design to debugging.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and debug moderately complex software applications based on technical specifications.
• Manage middleware administration operations including SSL certificates, Kafka, and web/app layers.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues independently and coordinate resolutions with external vendors.
• Devise and modify procedures to solve problems while accounting for equipment capacity and operating constraints.
• Analyze and implement event message formats such as SNMPv3 Traps, SYSLOG, and Log-Files.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in systems engineering or application programming.
• Expertise in AssureOne (Federos/Monolith) and Assure1.
• Hands-on experience with SCOM (Microsoft monitoring tool).
• Strong Unix command line and hands-on Unix administration.
• Proficiency in Shell and Perl scripting.
• Experience managing Kafka and SSL certificates.
• Working knowledge of Network Management tools and event message formats.
• Ability to work at a high technical level across all application programming phases.
