Description

You will own the full software lifecycle for AssureOne (Federos/Monolith), acting as the primary Subject Matter Expert for its development and administration. This role requires deep expertise in system engineering, middleware management, and independent troubleshooting across complex technical environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and debug moderately complex software applications based on technical specifications.
• Manage middleware administration operations, including SSL certificates, Kafka, and web/app layers.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues independently and coordinate resolutions with external vendors.
• Analyze and implement event message formats such as SNMPv3 Traps, SYSLOG, and Log-Files.
• Devise and modify procedures to solve problems while accounting for equipment capacity and operating constraints.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in systems engineering or application programming.
• Expertise in AssureOne (Federos/Monolith) and Assure1.
• Hands-on experience with SCOM (Microsoft monitoring tool).
• Strong Unix command line proficiency and hands-on Unix administration.
• Proficiency in Shell and Perl scripting.
• Experience managing Kafka and SSL certificates.
• Working knowledge of Network Management tools and event message formats.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work at a high technical level across all application programming phases.
