Description

You will own the configuration, management, and operational integrity of retail POS systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of retail POS systems, including evaluation, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell automation scripts to enhance software deployment efficiency and system management.
• Assist with software installation and deployment processes across retail locations.
• Conduct hands-on testing and validation of POS systems and related scripts.
• Collaborate with support teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a relevant IT role.
• Strong expertise in Windows operating systems and retail POS environments.
• Proficiency in PowerShell for automation.
• Experience with software deployment tools such as SCCM, Marimba, or Intune.
• Hands-on experience with POS hardware and system configuration.
• Familiarity with networking principles including VPNs, firewalls, and IP configurations.
