Description

You will manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including network devices, appliances, and edge layer hardware.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage LAN/WAN, switches, routers, firewalls, and edge layer devices.
• Create documentation for functional designs, POC requirements, and incident resolution workflows.
• Perform firmware upgrades, configuration changes, and pilot testing for new deployments.
• Resolve user trouble tickets and collaborate with other technical towers to troubleshoot issues.
• Willing to travel or relocate to unanticipated US locations on short notice for extended periods.

Required Skills

• Cisco hardware: 2900, 3600, 4500, 6500, 9400 series, Nexus 2K, 5K, 7K.
• Meraki MS 320, 350, 420 and MR 32, 42.
• Cisco ASA 5525, 5585, Palo Alto 3260, Palo Alto VM series, and Panorama.
• Networking protocols: TCP/IP, RIP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, IGRP, IS-IS, NAT.
• Wireless standards: 802.11a/b/g/n, 802.1X, WPA, TKIP, EAP.
• Operating systems: Cisco IOS, Solaris, Linux, Windows, macOS.
• Tools: Visio Professional, Lucid Chart, Wireshark, Nessus, Nmap.
• Programming: C, C++, Python.
• Jamf Pro, Google Admin Console, Carbon Black Dashboard.

Preferred Skills

• Velocloud 540, 840, Dark Trace, Cisco Works, HP Openview, SolarWinds.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of progressive experience.
