Description

You lead the debug and triage of complex hardware and firmware issues in laboratory and data center environments. You drive root cause analysis, system-level troubleshooting, and resolution of critical availability problems. You provide technical leadership to junior engineers and define deployment requirements for external partners.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Debug and triage complex hardware and firmware issues using industry-standard tools for root cause analysis.
• Troubleshoot GPU and system-level hardware/software flow across different system layers.
• Perform hands-on probing of board components, check electrical and power currents, and validate system functionality.
• Apply RAS knowledge to analyze and resolve issues identified at GPU and system levels.
• Document comprehensive flows and methods for system bring-up, boot-up, initialization, and debugging procedures.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Systems Integration and Debug.
• Deep understanding of GPU Systems and System Level Debug.
• Proficiency in Hardware Debug and RAS (Reliability, Availability, Serviceability) Knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, board-level power examination, and SoC debugging.
• Experience handling electrical complexities, liquid cooling systems, and complex cluster networks.
• Ability to drive resolution of critical problems in data center environments.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with complex HW/FW debugging and validation of GPU SOC components (VRs, RMs, retimers, HBM, internal networking).
• Direct liquid cooling experience and industry debug tools proficiency.
