Description

Design, document, and maintain email and endpoint security solutions for a large-scale production messaging environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead routing changes for over 900 SaaS providers and resolve moderately complex systems engineering challenges.
• Review system logs, conduct extensive research, and troubleshoot issues in SMTP configuration, mail flow, and DNS.
• Provide issue resolution recommendations for email security and endpoint security solutions.
• Collaborate with client personnel, peers, and managers to align on deliverables and compliance requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture experience.
• 4+ years working in a large Production Messaging environment.
• Deep expertise in SMTP connectivity, mail flow, DNS, MX, DKIM, and SPF.
• Hands-on experience with Proofpoint Hybrid (POD and Sentrions).
• Proficiency with Service Now, Jira, Nagios, and Splunk.
• Experience with enterprise change, incident management, and security policies.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years with Email Security applications such as M365 Defender, FireEye, or DLP.
• Experience with Agile methodology and working in financial institutions.
