Description

Manage production system stability and support migration of applications from on-premises to hybrid and public cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production systems to maintain uptime, performance, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve low to moderately complex operational issues.
• Execute automated deployments and support business continuity planning (BCP) switchover activities.
• Manage work intake via dashboards, queues, and runbooks or playbooks.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, consulting, military, or education.
• Strong analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
• Understanding of compliance requirements and operational best practices.
• Experience executing runbooks and playbooks in production environments.
• ServiceNow and Autosys Scheduler administration.
• Unix/Linux systems management.
• Azure Cloud monitoring and operations.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools: AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, Aternity, Splunk, BigPanda, or Grafana.

Preferred Skills

• 4–6 years of experience with ServiceNow.
• 2–4 years of experience with Autosys or Autosys Scheduler.
• 2–4 years of experience with Unix/Linux systems.
