Description

You will manage production support for finance applications, overseeing upstream and downstream data pipelines, batch processing, and Openshift workloads.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex technical challenges and escalated production issues using deep knowledge of system architecture and operational standards.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes using observability tools including Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, and AppDynamics.
• Execute Linux command line operations, shell scripting, and SQL queries to diagnose and resolve database (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) incidents.
• Manage batch processing schedules via CA Autotask (AutoSys) and support OpenShift workloads and data private cloud environments.
• Leverage AI-enhanced observability and AIOps platforms to detect anomalies, reduce alert noise, and optimize system performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture experience.
• 5+ years of application production support experience in high-availability environments.
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL database administration and query optimization.
• Expertise in Unix/Linux command line operations and shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with CA Autotask (AutoSys) for job scheduling and workflow management.
• Working knowledge of observability tools: Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, and ITRS.
• Experience with AI-driven monitoring, AIOps platforms, or generative AI tools for diagnostics and triage workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Prior banking or financial services client experience.
• Industry standard technology certification.
• Experience with test-driven development practices and Agile environments.
