Own the reliability, scalability, and automation of distributed systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain highly scalable and reliable services in close collaboration with engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full technology stack, including hardware, software, applications, and networks.
• Identify reliability risks and drive automation initiatives for deployment, management, and service visibility.
• Represent the organization in design reviews and operational readiness exercises for new and existing services.
• Contribute to system design and architecture with a focus on database knowledge and modern distributed patterns.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience running large-scale systems and working with distributed architectures.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Grafana, Splunk, or Dynatrace.
• Proficiency in automation and configuration management tools like Ansible and GitHub.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell; experience with at least one higher-level language.
• Ability to reason about modern software architectures, including load balancing, databases, queueing, caching, and microservices.
• Demonstrated ability to identify root causes and debug complex problems.
• Graduate degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Practical experience contributing to system design and architecture.
