You will improve service availability, scalability, and performance using software engineering principles and automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain systems in close collaboration with engineering and development teams.
• Troubleshoot issues across the full technology stack, including hardware, software, application, and network layers.
• Identify and implement automation for platform deployment, management, and service visibility.
• Proactively address system reliability risks and participate in design reviews and operational readiness exercises.
• Develop and implement frameworks and gameday exercises for testing critical applications at scale.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or Shell scripting.
• Deep experience with databases and system design.
• Hands-on experience with automation and configuration tools such as Ansible and GitHub.
• Experience using enterprise observability tools like Splunk and Grafana.
• Ability to debug and identify root causes across complex distributed systems.
• Understanding of modern architectures, including load-balancing, microservices, and cloud environments.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of DB2.
• Experience with Prometheus and advanced debugging techniques.
