Description

You will own the identification and mitigation of system and application security weaknesses.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data to assess and identify security weaknesses in systems, networks, and applications.
• Evaluate vulnerability risk, prioritize remediation, and implement fixes with engineering teams.
• Research emerging threats and vulnerabilities to maintain security posture.
• Report security findings and recommended actions to management and stakeholders.
• Assist in coordinating and resolving security incidents related to identified vulnerabilities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in vulnerability management and assessment.
• 5+ years experience with system and application security threats (e.g., buffer overflow, XSS, SQL injections, race conditions).
• Work experience with vulnerability scanners such as Wiz, Tenable, or NexusIQ.
• Strong understanding of emerging threat intelligence methodologies.
• Knowledge of network attack vectors and their relation to threats and vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of network security architecture, protocols, and traffic flow.
• Knowledge of application vulnerabilities and PL/SQL.

Preferred Skills

• CISA, CRISC, CIA, CISM, or CISSP certifications.
