Key Responsibilities
• Execute operational tasks across applications, platforms, and infrastructure environments
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 incident response, including troubleshooting, restoration, and stabilization
• Support monitoring, alert response, and overall operational health management
• Assist with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions as directed
• Perform system and platform patching activities, including coordination, scheduling, and execution
• Conduct post-patch validation to ensure system health, service availability, and absence of regressions
• Identify and escalate issues related to patching or system impacts and support remediation or rollback
• Execute engineering activities across cloud, container, virtualization, operating system, and platform layers
• Support deployments and releases, including pre- and post-deployment validation activities
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation to support global operations
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and procedures to ensure operational continuity
Technical Responsibilities
• Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and scripting activities
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline execution and optimization
• Assist with platform configuration, integration, and environment setup
• Support upgrade, uplift, and modernization initiatives using approved tools
• Perform system monitoring, log validation, and health checks
• Execute troubleshooting across infrastructure, platform, and application layers
• Ensure alignment with enterprise standards across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments
Profile
• Strong background in systems engineering, infrastructure operations, or platform engineering
• Experience supporting Tier 2/3 production environments in a 24x7 model
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Rancher, Kubernetes), operating systems (Linux/Windows), containers, and virtualization
• Experience with automation, scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell), and CI/CD tools
• Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and incident management practices
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and support root cause analysis
• Strong documentation discipline and commitment to operational excellence
• Ability to work collaboratively in a globally distributed, client-directed environment
