Description

You will develop and execute detailed feature test plans for BRAS protocols, including PPPoE, DHCP, L2TP, IPv6, Multicasting, SNMP, and L2/L3 protocols like BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VPLS, QoS, Policy, PPP.

Responsibilities

• Review Market Requirements, Product Description, and Functional Specification documents.
• Support Beta teams during feature adoption and work with Product Managers on deployment scenarios.
• Respond to customer queries and escalate issues rapidly.
• Contribute to knowledge dissemination sessions and mentor in technology areas.
• Answer queries from systems engineers via designated email aliases.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in product test and BRAS/L2/L3 protocols testing.
• Expert level knowledge in Python and Perl for complex automation.
• Strong analytical skills to debug and isolate technical problems.
• Good understanding of the OSI Model and TCP/IP protocol suite (ARP, IP, ICMP, IGMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP, FTP).
• Proficiency with test tools such as IXIA and Spirent test equipment.
• Knowledge of protocols including PPP, PPPoE, DHCP, HTTP, and Radius/AAA.
• Familiarity with routing protocols like ISIS, BGP, and Multicast.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/ECE or equivalent.
