You will develop and execute detailed feature test plans for BRAS protocols, ensuring reliable product deployment and customer satisfaction.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for BRAS protocols including PPPoE, DHCP, L2TP, IPv6, Multicasting, SNMP, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VPLS, QoS, and Policy.
• Review Market Requirements, Product Descriptions, and Functional Specifications to define testing scopes.
• Support Beta teams during feature adoption and collaborate with Product Managers on deployment scenarios.
• Respond to customer queries, escalate issues rapidly, and answer technical questions via designated email aliases.
• Contribute to knowledge dissemination sessions and mentor systems engineers in specific technology areas.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in product test and BRAS/L2/L3 protocols testing.
• Expert-level knowledge of Python and Perl for complex automation tasks.
• Strong analytical skills to debug and isolate technical problems.
• Proficiency with test tools such as IXIA and Spirent test equipment.
• Good understanding of the OSI Model and TCP/IP protocol suite (ARP, IP, ICMP, IGMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP, FTP).
• Knowledge of protocols including PPP, PPPoE, DHCP, HTTP, and Radius/AAA.
• Familiarity with routing protocols like ISIS, BGP, and Multicast.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/ECE or equivalent.
