Description

You will resolve system issues and manage performance tuning across self-hosted and cloud Viewpoint environments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support via phone and internet for system configuration, product functionality, and service issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems involving performance, permissions, connectivity, and application errors.
  • Administer SQL Databases, covering backups, maintenance plans, and user management for Viewpoint suites.
  • Assist customers with Viewpoint software client/server environments, including upgrades and migration.
  • Document issues and develop Knowledge Base Articles, feeding customer feedback to Development.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in systems support or related field.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory, managing users, and applying Group Policies.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server Database Administration and relational database concepts.
  • Experience with Azure user management and related services.
  • Experience managing virtual deployments using VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
  • Demonstrated understanding of basic networking concepts, including routing and VPN configuration.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server administration and Event Viewer.
  • Experience with ticketing software (e.g., Salesforce) or similar.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in a computer science field.
