Description

Validate digital IP and SOC architecture through systems-level software testing, hardware validation, and post-silicon characterization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts to validate new systems and modifications.
• Perform digital IP validation and post-silicon characterization for power and performance metrics.
• Conduct log analysis and troubleshoot issues using debugging techniques to identify program errors.
• Execute field and lab tests using JTAG, hardware boards, oscilloscopes, and other lab equipment.
• Document systems-level defects in bug tracking systems and report findings to development teams.

Required Skills

• 2-4 years of experience in hardware/software validation or similar engineering roles.
• Proficiency in C programming.
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Perl for automation.
• Experience with JTAG, hardware boards, and lab equipment like oscilloscopes.
• Understanding of computer architecture, SOC architecture, and GPU or Multimedia IP.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with web technologies (SharePoint, PowerBI, HTML, Java) for dashboard creation.
• Experience with back-end job automation using Jenkins.
