Description

You will design, develop, and maintain core systems software, including operating systems, compilers, networking, and databases.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design enhancements and programming changes for systems software subsystems based on overall product architecture.
• Analyze design requirements to determine coding, integration, and development activities.
• Write and execute complete testing plans, debug code, and resolve integration issues.
• Lead project teams of internal and outsourced engineers to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.
• Mentor less-experienced staff and communicate design status and progress to management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development and systems engineering.
• Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages.
• Experience with system design tools and multi-platform software systems.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, including test plan execution and debugging scripts.
• Ability to communicate complex architectural designs effectively.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading outsourced development partners.
• Background in operating systems or compiler design.
