Description

You will own the development, optimization, and maintenance of enterprise T-SQL databases and analytics solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for enterprise applications.
• Design database structures, indexes, and query strategies to maximize performance.
• Collaborate with developers and analysts to translate data requirements into efficient database solutions.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for security and disaster recovery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and supporting SQL Server databases.
• Strong proficiency in T-SQL, including stored procedures, functions, and complex queries.
• Proven expertise in database optimization, indexing strategies, and query tuning.
• Experience with relational database design, normalization, and data modeling.
• Proficiency with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and Data Tools.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure SQL Database or Azure Synapse.
• Familiarity with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or Analysis Services (SSAS).
