Description

You will lead the technical efforts to update the Generate data model to version 10 of the CEDS data warehouse and manage the ETL processes for federal EDFacts reporting.

Responsibilities

• Rationalize and map data between transactional and dimensional database models.
• Develop stored procedures and ETL processes in coordination with database and system administrators.
• Design, develop, and manage the creation of federally required reports using the Generate application.
• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
• Manage data model updates and ETL workflows to support federal reporting requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in T-SQL development.
• Extensive experience developing stored procedures and ETL processes.
• Deep understanding of data warehouse design hierarchies, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Proficiency with version control, code analysis, and testing.
• Experience using ALM tools for work item management.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and continuous integration.
• Experience creating and scheduling elastic jobs.
• Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict time constraints.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with student information management systems and K-12 data reporting.
• Knowledge of Common Education Data Standards (CEDS) and EDFacts Federal Reporting.
• Experience with .Net, Angular, or Azure Synapse pipelines.
• Experience designing database structures based on business use cases.
