Description

Lead data rationalization and mapping between transactional and dimensional database models while developing stored procedures and ETL processes.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Map data between transactional and dimensional database models and systems.
• Develop stored procedures and ETL processes in collaboration with database and system administrators.
• Design, develop, and manage federally required reports using the Generate application.
• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
• Collaborate with vendors and agency staff to meet project requirements under time constraints.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in T-SQL development.
• Extensive experience developing stored procedures and ETL processes.
• Thorough understanding of data warehouse design hierarchies, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Proficiency with Snowflake and Azure Synapse.
• Experience using ALM tools for work item management, version control, code analysis, and testing.
• Broad knowledge of the software development process and associated technologies.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and creating/scheduling elastic jobs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with student information management systems, K-12 data, and reporting.
• Knowledge of Common Education Data Standards (CEDS), EDFacts Federal Reporting, .Net/Angular, or Azure Synapse pipelines.
• Experience designing and modeling database structures based on business use cases.
