Description

Manage and maintain large volumes of data within an MS SQL Server environment, focusing on extraction, transformation, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, automate, and maintain data management processes using MS SQL Server, SSMS, SQL Server Jobs, and SSIS.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, formatting, and validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Monitor data quality by developing QA and performance dashboards in Tableau to measure integrity, validity, and completeness.
• Optimize SQL scripts and processes to improve system efficiency and performance.
• Document data requirements, migration needs, and technical procedures for data management activities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SQL development and data management.
• Expertise in T-SQL query language for advanced data analysis and reporting.
• Strong experience with SSIS development within MS SQL Server environments.
• Deep understanding of database structure, design, and data quality management procedures.
• Proficiency with MS SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server Jobs.
• Experience using Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
• Proven ability to handle data migration requirements and complex data troubleshooting.
• Technical proficiency with T-SQL, XML, Tableau, and Oracle.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with R, SAS, or HL7 messaging standards.
• Knowledge of public health disease surveillance and health-related information systems.
