Description

You will manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the Tableau Server environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute Tableau Server installations, upgrades, patches, and backup/recovery procedures.
• Manage security settings including SSL certificates, encryption, authentication, and access controls.
• Monitor server performance to identify bottlenecks and optimize resource allocation.
• Collaborate with DBA and networking teams to optimize database connectivity, firewall configurations, and network performance.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting server connectivity, data sources, and dashboard performance.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in Tableau Server administration.
• Hands-on experience with Linux environments.
• Working knowledge of DBA processes and database performance optimization.
• Experience managing SSL certificates and authentication protocols.
• Ability to perform performance tuning for Tableau workbooks and data sources.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
