Description

You will manage the deployment, migration, and maintenance of the Tableau platform environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage production migrations and deployments of artifacts, including migrating Tableau from on-premises to Tableau Cloud.
• Provide multi-level support ranging from L1 monitoring and basic incident management to L3 complex development and troubleshooting.
• Execute platform upgrades, major/minor/patch releases, and annual disaster recovery and password rotation exercises.
• Optimize platform resiliency, uptime, and vulnerability resolution within defined SLAs.
• Enforce platform governance, manage licenses, and assist with audit requests and executive status reporting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Tableau administration and server management.
• Deep understanding of Tableau architecture and application upgrade processes.
• Proven experience with platform support and ITSM workflows.
• Ability to develop dashboards for capacity planning and platform resiliency monitoring.
• Experience managing platform governance and security standards.
• Capability to handle stakeholder management and customer communications.
• Background in identifying automation opportunities to reduce operational toil.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with continuous platform optimization and vulnerability management.
