Description

Manage and maintain Tableau Server infrastructure in a fully remote capacity.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain offsite backup plans to protect data against system failure or human error.
• Manage user permissions and monitor network activity to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data.
• Perform regular server and workstation maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot Tableau software issues, including installing updates and resolving technical problems.
• Partner with development teams to ensure new features and integrations are compatible with existing infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Tableau Server Administration experience.
• Experience managing Tableau Server version 2021.2.7 or similar.
• Strong understanding of Tableau infrastructure, services, and configuration.
• Proficiency with Linux and shell scripting.
• Ability to handle and optimize large-scale data sources.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Tableau Cloud or hybrid deployments.
• Familiarity with automated deployment pipelines for Tableau.
• Knowledge of identity management systems (SAML, LDAP).
