Description

You will manage Tableau Shared Services, overseeing dashboard development, server administration, and data architecture in Cupertino, CA.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop Tableau reports, visualizations, and dashboards by connecting to various external data sources.
• Design and implement data architectures to support the Tableau Shared Services system.
• Promote Tableau objects into production after executing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) scans for PHI or sensitive data.
• Monitor server performance, identify issues, and terminate processes causing system strain or loops.
• Apply patches, upgrade server versions, and implement service processes, policies, and procedures.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
• 4+ years of experience working with MS SQL Server.
• Proficiency in Tableau, MS SQL, and Oracle.
• Experience creating views and stored procedures within Oracle and MS SQL Server databases.
• Background in web application or web page development.
• Experience with dashboard mockup development and user validation.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
